Ms. MO’s Mad Mad World

I had to go to Milblogging.com : The World’s Largest Index of Military Blogs (Milblogs) to get information on #MilitaryMon which thankfully explained what a Hashtag was on Twitter, along with what #MilitaryMon was. However I don’t think putting #MilitaryMon and all of our usual disgruntled thoughts would be productive… :p. My very educated guess would be that it is more supportive and bringing things to the attention of readers, or civilians who still have very very strange ideas about our military and our military way of life. So type in the hashtag on Twitter and you might be surprised who is a huge military supporter. It’s nice to know people care, or rather still care. Check out the “Today” show on NBC in the mornings, they are really rallying support. Next week it will probably be something else, but hell, we will take what we can.

However here at Ms. MO’s Mad Mad World, I will put my disgruntled thoughts out there, ’cause I can, I have earned it. My main disgruntled thought is still R&R. We are now three weeks behind our scheduled first date. We got a second date only to have three flights canceled. Two due to weather and one just ’cause they can. Everytime Maverick calls it is never good news about when he will be here. Second Daughter “G” has a dance recital this Friday with her first solo. She is the only girl with a solo, it’s a big deal. He already missed Big Daughter “G”’s first playday, and yes with a deployment, these things happen. But let’s not miss out on everything, mmmmmkay.

I am still looking forward to everything else. Mostly of Maverick learning to ride. I have never seen him on a horse and I think it will be seriously yummy. I also can’t wait to take him to some new places to eat, go dancing, fishing, ride around in the Jeep with the top down. Oh which I am going to learn to drive it in exchange for him agreeing to learn to ride a horse. I can teach him, he can teach me . *sigh* I just want my honey home.
