Dorked Up Hooah

Hooah – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had to laugh at a few of these:

“A substitute for “that’s cool”. “That’s hooah”.” – I have never heard this. Did the DOD edit this article? Are they trying to be cool? I have this saying about Disney that I find to be quite true for the military too. They find some cool-ish idea and then dork it up as much as possible. Seriously I will never say “OMG that movie was so hooah.” No not likely to come out of my mouth or anybody I know for that matter. Unless it was some over dramatic dorked up Army propaganda. Then the sentence/statement would apply but in a very snarky way.

“Glad to meet you, welcome” -really? I can do away with all other social pleasantries and just say Hooah after I have met somebody. Does this include a wave? Is it said during or after a handshake?

“You’ve taken the correct action” – Affirmative cyborg man from the future.

Today I am hoping the arena is tilled, I kinda want to lope out of the round pen. I rode Ben the last two days. I needed to and Ben needed me too. I was so rusty loping that I felt like I just learned. I did however do so much better controling Ben and feeling when he was actually going to lope from a trot before he did it. I have to “bump” him and remind him who exactly has their foot on the accelerator. Now to keep him moving and not stopping when he wants to. He, at the moment, is controlling the breaks. Oh well it’s all coming together, slowly, but we’re getting there. I am excited to teach Maverick to ride! Can a modern Cav’ boy ride horses?

So much closer to R&R HOOAH!!!! *giggle*
