Books are fun!
It may look like I haven’t updated here in a few weeks but I have been adding to the Mommy Help Lunches. I have been making the girls bentos and they are a hit. Children at school are very interested in what the girls will be bringing and let me tell you, it’s no different than what their mothers are packing. It is just arranged differently making it more fun to eat. Even things I didn’t think they would actually want in their lunches like the dreaded left overs, they are eating. Yay!
I have been reading a few books off my normal Historical Time Traveling Romances. “The Boleyn Inheritance” has grown on me since I finished it a few weeks ago. It was boring to read and took me longer to get through because of it but looking back on it I can say I truly enjoyed it. I have also been reading the “Dexter” books, yes the ones that the series on Showtime is based on. If you are as addicted to the show as Maverick and I you will enjoy the books, they are about 85% different, good stuff. Right now I am currently reading: The Year of Living Biblically: One Man’s Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible by A. J. Jacobs. Interesting concept, and for those like me, the not at all religious but not an atheist either types, this is a light hearted read, it is not persuasive it is just as it it says, one guy living by the bible and not any one religion and at times it’s pretty funny :P. His poor wife… LOL.
So I hope all is well in Military Blogger world. I haven’t visited anybody for a week and though I don’t comment I do visit you and enjoy your musings.
