Army Wives Episode 4, Season 2 - “Leaving the Tribe”

Frank & Denise: or rather just Denise since Frank was once again MIA this episode except for the highly predictable “officer wives don’t ride motorcycles”. Which is b.s. and anybody will tell you that. Frank is a control freak, I like him, but he needs to settle down a bit.

I don’t think Denise will cheat. At least not right away, the writers just did that with Roland.

Michael & C.J.: Ummm retirement community? He’s what in his late 40’s? Strange. I knew he wouldn’t retire. I felt bad for him and I wonder if a lot of commanders go through the emotions he did. How do you sign a paper that sends kids to war? It’s hard enough that we wives drop off our husbands and drive away. For me I had guilt. Like I was saying ok you go to war, it’s ok, see you later. For a commander, though they are not emotionally connected, I have to think that on some level they feel it too.

As for the bomber’s sister. He was under no obligation to speak to her and she had a lot of ovaries to go on that post and give her opinion and basically say she wanted a memorial for her brother. No, I think Michael did the normal human thing when he first saw her and screw C.J. Ms. Meltdown at the PX is going to tell her husband how he should handle things. Blah, I now don’t like this couple

Note on Emmalin - glad they got a new actress.

Pam & Chase: Pam wasn’t in the spotlight and Chase was also MIA. I still wish I had her job. Did she not know the woman was the bomber’s sister? Don’t they screen people? That entire thing was odd.

Roxy & Trevor: HA! I knew Roxy would get some control or something to do with the Hump Bar from Betty. I think it will create a story of Roxy not wanting to PCS when Betty dies and leaves her the bar. However it looks like we’ll see another case of PTSD with Trevor before the other storyline, I just made up, begins.

I enjoyed Roxy telling that woman off and gave her some history of Betty’s family starting the bar. My friend *B* said it seems Roxy is always telling somebody off and getting away with it. Don’t we all wish we could…. LOL. As for Trevor getting shot they spoiled that in the previews, I really wish they didn’t, I didn’t get a true reaction to that because I knew it was coming. I think I will turn it before the previews start at the end. I am annoyed by that. I thought I would be more “OMG” but we all knew it was going to happen and Roxy didn’t get to be sad long enough.

Roland & Joan: Ha ha Joan threw up in front of Michael. I’m so glad Michael didn’t go all HOOAH On her about it. He just smiles, that’s great. I would like to think Maverick would just smile too. Sometimes I think males in the military are too hard on females. I might catch crap for saying that but call me old fashion, women are still women no matter what job we choose and I get the equality and you are a soldier first blah blah blah and all the other brainwashing crap. But women can still be treated differently. If you don’t agree blog it yourself, this is my post, so there. - - I called it with Roland, working with children. Of course that was pretty easy to see coming.

Am I the only one not getting the same strong emotions while watching the show? Is it because Maverick is home now and things don’t seem as dramatic? This is the first time I didn’t get tears. I enjoy the emotions I get while watching the show. At least I got to be mad at the bombers sister. Screw her… LOL
